Day Six Of 30 Days of Art!

boy, am I tired! I had a very stressful day. yet nothing I had to go through today could compare to my daughter who lost her four-legged baby today. Ginger was her name and she had been sick for a very Long time so my daughter didn't want to see her suffer any longer and now she is at peace. and playing with the best yarn ever!
the painting is of Ginger
 I love you Ginger baby...

Day 5 of 30 days of Art

Day 5 of 30 Days of art Yay!
so, I tend to play with random crap that most people throw away and today Is no different. I used meat trays; the stuff your super market wraps the meat in.

I cut off the sides so I could have a flat surface to work on. then I took a dull pencil and drew out my design; here I chose an Owl, isn't he sweet? after I finished drawing the owl and was happy with the design (you only get as many go's as you have trays) Luckily one was enough. then I added the paints quickly so to keep it from drying. place your paper over it and use a brayer or a cup and roll out the print.

..print as many as you'd like the design never changes but you can change the colors as often as you like. this works great on T-shirts too!

Today's ATC is a collage of random goodness I gathered. the background is designer paper from Tim Holtz and so is the film strip ribbon ...just love all of his stuff!

NO Day Like Today!

Day four of one hundred day challenge.

with a little help from my scanner, I added some digital artwork to my painting and I think it came out pretty good.

this ATC is so far the worst, I think anyway. It is made from anything I could find on my desk and well, it shows but I'm still posting it because 100 days is a long time to be picky about my work.

Day 3 of 30

ok, I made it with an hour to spare! Day three of one hundred days of painting Yay!
so here they are...
the painting came from thin air really I don't know this person, she is just one of my many Friends that live inside my head...lol
The ATC is based on my nephew, who loves to play video games ... created with acrylic paints and a collage image from a vintage book. Hope you enjoy today's submission

Day two Time crunch

OMG! here it is Day two and I'm down to the wire again ...I have to admit the weekends are tough for me but I still think these came out OK.
the mixed media piece started out as a collage and then evolved...but in the end I loved it so yes I added the word to it to remind myself even when pressed for time I can still love what I do.

the ATC is quite the surprise of the day. I layer what I had on hand on my desk and the result is something pretty cool, I think.
